Deck and fence staining by a specialist, not a painter.
Staining, sealing and power washing is all we do. 20+ years protecting Minnesota decks and fences from sun, snow and rot. Based in Blaine.
Why Minnesota wood fails early
Freeze-thaw cycles, UV and trapped moisture break down wood fast. Skip the prep or use the wrong product and the finish peels within a season or two. We do the prep and product choice right the first time.
A specialist (us)
- Deep clean and prep matched to your wood
- Stains chosen for Minnesota weather
- Thin, even coats that soak in and last
- Staining is our daily work, so the results show
A general painter
- Treats a deck like a wall
- Rushed prep, wrong product
- Peeling and blotching in a year or two
- Staining is one of many jobs

Common questions
How often should I re-stain my deck?
Most Minnesota decks need a fresh coat every 2 to 3 years, sooner for sun-baked south-facing decks. Water that soaks in instead of beading is the sign it is time.
When is the best time to stain?
Late spring through early fall, when wood is dry and temperatures are mild. Book early in the year to lock in your date.
Stain or sealer: which do I need?
Stain adds color and UV protection, sealer repels water. Many quality products do both. We recommend the right one for your wood and how it looks today.
How long until I can use my deck?
Usually light foot traffic within 24 hours and furniture back in 48 to 72 hours, depending on product and weather. We tell you exactly.
What areas do you serve?
Blaine and the north metro and beyond, including Coon Rapids, Lino Lakes, Ham Lake, Andover, Ramsey, Fridley, Spring Lake Park, Centerville, Circle Pines, Champlin, Rogers, Otsego, St. Michael, Elk River, Big Lake, Monticello, Zimmerman, Princeton, Milaca, Cambridge and Isanti.
